Funny story: when I was 18, a Philly rapper named MakkDubb (shoutout to Makk!) asked me to host his mixtape, DJ Drama-style. I had never DJ'ed in my life but I said yeah. In thinking of a name, "DJ Son Of A Gun" came to mind because of obvious reasons. I remember my pops checked me on what it meant to call myself a DJ but not be a DJ, and I never forgot it. I never forgot the name either, and knew I'd use it for something one day. And here we are.
